Apple is reportedly going to add a new USB-C port to iPhone 15 models. According to MacRumors, the mute button will be replaced by a multiuse action button that can be customized for different functions like launching the camera app, activating Low Power mode, Shazam, and Shortcuts.
The new model is also expected to feature a darker shade of red. The color is believed to be a replacement for Deep Purple. Leaker ShrimpApplePro suggests that the iPhone 15 will only support USB-C accessories certified by Apple. This could limit features like fast charging and data transfer speeds to Apple-approved accessories.
A15 Bionic chip
